Our Brayden!!



This weekend Brayden had a funny comment I wanted to write down so that I wouldn't forget, and where I don't journal very well I will post it for future memories.

Brayden has been on this kick about my stomach and why a baby is not growing in it. He sees moms who are pregnant and wonders when mine will get big again. So after a long conversation about babies this is what was said.

Brayden: Mom when will your belly get big.
Mom: I don't know if it ever will again.
Brayden: Well then how am I supposed to get a brother to play with.
Mom: Well even if I did get pregnant it might not be a brother it might be a sister again.
Brayden: Oh no!!! Then I would have another "thing" to deal with.

Oh how funny. For those of you that know Jaycie you all know she is a sweet heart but quite difficult at times. Kids are so much fun.

Preschool Graduation!

Brayden graduated from his first year of preschool. He had such a great year and learned so much. It was fun to see how much growth he had throughout the year. Brayden will turn five in October so he will have one more year of preschool before kindergarten. These are a few pictures of graduation.

Memorial Weekend!

We went to Bear Lake over Memorial weekend and had a great time. We played in the water, rode four wheelers and camped. We had a lot of fun even though it rained the entire time. It was amazing how excited we would get the minute the sun would peer through the clouds, it lasted three to five minutes and then it was gone again. It was a fun trip. We plan to go back again this summer when the sun will shine longer than 5 minutes.



We didn't have a boat so we used the four wheeler to pull the kids on the tube.

Taser Training!

Nick had to get certified with the taser, and in so doing he had to actually get tazed himself. He and a bunch of other fellow officers had to take the "ride". Nick was tazed for three seconds. Watch how it drops him the minute the taser hits him. The other officers had to hold him so that he wouldn't fall. All I can say is I wouldn't want to mess with an officer that has a taser.

At AJ's Birthday party the boys played guns. Grown up boys against the 4 year olds. It was hilarious. Here are a few photos to show the intensity of this game.

Girls Weekend!

On Friday we had our girls weekend. My mom and sister came down and we went out to dinner and a movie. On Saturday we went to the salon for a much needed massage. It was a great mothers day weekend. A great big thank you for Nick taking the time to watch the 5 children Friday night and Saturday Morning. What a great husband. He loaded all 5 children up in the car Saturday morning and took them to the Zoo. Thank you so much Nick for being you. I love you and appreciate all you do.
